Why we were formed...
As a lecturer in employment law at a leading university in the UK, I have been involved in training and advising solicitors, barristers and HR professionals. A colleague and I began to offer employment law up-dates and training for local businesses. I soon found myself being asked to assist with difficult employee matters. The SMEs in particular had no permanent dedicated legal or HR departments and the managers and proprietors did not have the expertise or time to deal with the issues. There was clearly a need for on-site visits by professional experts in employment law and HR. LPD was set up to help employers flourish in their business and to establish a harmonious workforce.

What we do...
We will review your current contracts of employment and policies, develop new contracts if required. Our weekly visits will provide a professional presence which helps to support you and provides a point of contact for staff. Should there be any issues concerning punctuality, absenteeism, misconduct, disciplinaries, capability, working hours, holidays, appraisals, wage rise demands, redundancies, dismissal, harassment, discrimination etc we will deal directly with staff when requested, advise you on all matters and draft appropriate letters. At all times we are here to support you and your business.
